Join us for an immersive 3-hour nature experience led by fungi expert Peter Donecker and Deb with your hosts Graeme and Toni Dearle of Pemberton Discovery Tours.
Departing from the Crossings Bakery in Pemberton at 10am, were we travel in convoy (2WD access) with morning tea included. You are welcome to grab a picnic and stay longer after the experience.
Peter will guide you through the art of identifying wild mushrooms and fungi, sharing stories and insights from over 40 years of experience in mycology, including 20 years studying fungi in the Pemberton region. As admin of the WA Fungi and Australian Wild Mushroom Hunters Facebook groups, and author of Tall Trees and Mushrooms, Peter brings both knowledge and passion to the field.
Along the way, enjoy a relaxed morning tea in nature, with homemade treats and warm drinks provided.
Optional: Subject to weather, timing and interest, the experience may include a short 4WD drive to nearby pine plantations, where different species may be found.
